This Blended Learning Format (online + in-person) combines online learning with hands-on classroom training to offer a comprehensive learning experience and meet the requirements for OSHA-approved certification.  Students are required to complete the online training BEFORE attending the in-person class. 

For blended learning classes, the hands-on training must be completed within 90 days of completing the required online training.

The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants.  It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA, workplace, or other regulatory requirements.  This class is taught in a blended learning format, and the online portion (accessed via mobile, desktop, or tablet) must be completed before attending the Instructor-led skills session.  Upon successful completion, a valid 2-year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

• Skills Performed on the Floor - Please dress comfortably, as skills are performed on the floor.  The American Red Cross requires students to perform one full round of CPR on the floor.  If you have any medical restrictions, please consult your primary physician before registering.  A kneeling pad will be provided to ensure minimal comfort.
• Proof of Online Course Completion is REQUIRED to attend the in-person training (allow 1-3 hours to complete the online training; start online training at a minimum of 48 hours before the in-person training)
• No Children Allowed - Students may not bring children to in-person classes (nursing infants are an exception).

Audio: A soundcard and either speakers or headphones for multimedia audio. 

• All classes require payment in full to reserve your spot.  Class sizes are limited to create a lower student-to-teacher ratio.  Please reserve your spot as early as possible.  Refunds will be granted to those who cancel at least 7 days before the class.  Students may transfer to a different class at no additional cost if they notify us at least 24 hours in advance of their scheduled class.  To request a transfer, please get in touch with our office by phone or Email.
• Less than 24 Hours' Notice: If notice is given less than 24 hours before the class, the class fee will be lost.  Students may re-register for 50% off their new class fee.  Only one transfer is permitted per student, and once a transfer has been completed, no refunds will be issued.  Once a class begins, there will be no transfers or refunds.  Registration may NOT be accepted in person.
• CANCELLATIONS DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT: The course may be canceled due to low enrollment.  Students will be provided no less than 1 day's notice and will be offered additional class options.
• Blended Learning Classes require the online training to be completed before the in-person class.  Students must complete the online coursework before attending the class.  Access to the online coursework will be provided via Email upon completion of registration.
• LATE POLICY: 5 minutes for blended classes; 15 minutes for full-day courses.  You will not be allowed to attend if you are late and will be required to register with full payment for another class.
• Instructor Training Courses- Refund & Transfer Policy: Refunds will be granted to those who cancel at least 14 days before the class.  If you request a transfer within 7 - 13 days before class, you will be charged $60 to transfer to another class.  If you request a transfer within 4 - 6 days of class, you will be charged 50% of the registration fee to transfer to another class.  All prerequisites must be received and/or completed at least three days before the class.  No transfers or refunds will be granted within 3 days or less before the class start date.  Only one paid transfer is allowed per student, and once a transfer has been completed, no refunds will be issued.

• WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY: Please keep in mind that Ashby Resources & Solutions follows local school closings and county government offices/libraries as a guideline for cancellations.  The school district/county in which the class locations fall will be the standard.  If a class is held and students do not attend, their registration will be forfeited, and they will need to register for a new class.  All cancellation/transfer fees remain in effect.
